Patrick (Jeff) Considine was born in 1934 on a dairy farm in County Clare, Ireland. He was the youngest of five children. After spending a short time living and working in London, England, he moved to Toronto in May 1960. After just a few weeks in the city, Jeff met Valerie at a dance at the Masonic Temple. Together, they spent many an evening attending the opera, symphony and ballet. They also travelled extensively, with a particular penchant for cruises.
As his daughters, Erin and Hilary, grew up and began participating in sports, Jeff spent a great deal of time driving them to figure skating practices and competitions, softball games, as well as horseback riding lessons and events.
Starting in 1980, Valerie, later followed by Erin and eventually Hilary, began horseback riding at Leitchcroft Farms. The Considine family enjoyed many, many years of events and parties at Leitchcroft. The family cherishes those memories and the life-long friendships that came as a result of that wonderful community.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Sunday, August 11 at the family home from 2-4 p.m.
