Obituary of John Walter Osterhout
After a three and a half year courageous battle to recover from injuries suffered in a senseless vehicle accident on 19 January 2016, John Walter Osterhout quietly passed through transition to return to the great spirit from whence we all come, his father Lawrence Joseph Osterhout at his side. John passed in the early afternoon of 04 June 2019 at Rouge Valley Hospital, Scarborough, Ontario, Canada.
He leaves behind on parting the love of his life Diane Johnston; his father Lawrence; mother-Colette Margaret Rose Emond; two brothers-Ernest Clayton and Lee Anthony; three daughters-Courtney Marie Robinson, MacKenzie Raine Osterhout, and Sierra Skye Osterhout; his granddaughter Emma Robinson; two grandsons-Xavier Robinson and Kai Reuben John Osterhout-Pitter. In addition many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, dear friends and business associates.
John’s mortal remains are interred at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. 375 Mount Pleasant Road, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In the conservatory at the Pool of Reflection. During his sojourn here amongst us, his example of courage, skill, integrity, loyalty, good humor and optimism has deeply touched everyone he knew. You are sadly missed by all and will live on in our hearts forever.
