Thursday, June 6, 2019I wish to express my deepest condolences to my beloved Aunt, Uncle and Cousin. Although we haven't seen each other much in the last 30 years, you are all still in my heart... I wish you peace, love and comfort, and send you my love and positive energy. To you my beloved cousin Cathy, I will always have fond memories of the little time we spent together, and look back with a smile on my face. I hope your time on this earth was well spent, happy and fulfilling, as I'm sure you instilled in others. You will always be missed, but will always have a place in my heart. May you watch over your loved ones from above, until we come to you. Love Always, Cousin Anthony

Monday, June 3, 2019My deepest condolences to the family. I pray that her journey to heaven be as impressive to God as the life she had on earth. Her enthusiasm and encouragement inspired the lives of many people she encountered everyday. Her willingness to teach did not just assist in changing the children she worked with, but also the many teachers she embraced as colleague and a friend. I for one will miss her smile and the funny stories she told, when she came into the MEDD room at St. Kevin. God had a bigger plan for you, and rest assured, you will run the race and pass with flying colours. Rest in eternal peace my friend.

Monday, June 3, 2019My dear sweet Cathy, I have so many good memories of us together. The green perfume from Niagara Falls, the cute guys in Daytona, Penny on the blow up mattress and our trip to Jamaica. You were more like a sister than a cousin and I’ll miss you so so much. Rest in peace and soon we will meet again. I love you Auntie Joyce and Uncle Joey. Susie

Sunday, June 2, 2019Our deepest sympathies to Auntie Joyce, Uncle Joey, Stephen and family. We have many happy memories of Cathy and her thoughtful and kind nature. She came to visit us in California when she went to the World Figure Skating Championships. We sat in the stands one day for the practice and she tried to teach me the difference in the skater’s jumps. I will never forget her patience and the fun we had. We will remember her always and are so sorry for your loss.

I take solace knowing that you're now in heaven with our Lord and everyone that has previously passed on. You were always sweet & generous to Susie, Jenna & Me. Wednesday, May 29, 2019To my Twilight sister - I will always cherish the memories of our "Summer of Rob" - it's where I first met you and of our theatre nights - Book of Mormon, Back Beat, Les Miz - thanks for singing along with me!. You were always generous, loving and so kind. I appreciate the support you showed me in my own theatrical endeavours in Scarborough. You fought a great fight, Cathy. Now rest. To paraphrase Arnelle in Steel Magnolias (a theatrical reference for you), I'm a little comforted knowing that there's someone on my side up there watching over me.

Wednesday, May 29, 2019It was a pleasure knowing and working with Cathy. Always a smile, always a nice thing to say, that was the Cathy I knew. The passing of a soul, gone too soon. She will be missed by more than I. Rest in peace dear soul.

Tuesday, May 28, 2019Cathy demonstrated what it means to be a member of our Catholic community both in her actions and words; at work and outside of it. She was someone you could count on to help when you needed it-never asking for anything in return. She came to see me perform at The Scarborough Village Theatre as well as supported my son’s choir performances at Massey Hall. This kindness and authentic interest in my personal theatrical pursuits and my son’s musical career did not go unnoticed by me or my family. She will be deeply missed.

Tuesday, May 28, 2019I’ve worked with Cathy for many years. We had great conversations about various things. Her love of Kate Spade and Harry Potter to name a few. She was always smiling and happy. She fought hard. She was so supportive to my Jessica with her own battle of brain tumours. She will be dearly missed. Her constant positivity inspired Jessica to be positive during her journey. Every time I see pictures of Otters or Cats I will think of you. We will meet up again. Love always. XO

Tuesday, May 28, 2019Cathy was my very first friend in high school. We met on the first day of Gr 9 at Loretto Abbey. We sat beside each other in our first class. We introduced ourselves and quickly realized that we had the exact same class schedule for the year. We have remained friends ever since that day. We had periods when we lost touch, but we always seems to find each other again. I guess this will be one of those times when we lose touch for a while. But I have no doubt that we will find each other again. I will miss her while she’s gone, but I’m glad her fight is over and she is at peace.

Tuesday, May 28, 2019Cathy was an absolute joy to spend time with. She always had the best stories, gave the best advice for where to enjoy high tea, and had a remarkable Kate Spade inspired sense of style. I never saw her without a smile on her face. Her generosity to our family meant so much to us, and her love of reading and otters has rubbed off on our son (her special Muggle). We are truly blessed to have known her. All of our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time. All our love, Sarah, David and Davie Pereira
