Dear Linda and family, I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Jim had such a beautiful soul. He had a gentle kindness about him, a love of life and took great pride in all he did. He was always very humble, but he was so incredibly talented!
He had a quick sense of humor that would sometimes have you in tears from laughter. He was proud of his time as a teacher and musician. It is incredible that he was with the band for 58 years...he was so dedicated!
He was also a devoted husband to you Linda, and father and grandfather. He loved his family so very much. He asked about Beverly all the time and I always asked about his grandkids too. I remember how excited he was to become a grandparent.
So this photo here, I took in 2015 at our all ranks Christmas dinner. I was teaching him how to take selfies. He had just gotten an iPhone and was figuring out how to use it. Angelik and others were showing him how to text. Anyways, we are really going to miss him. May be Rest in Paradise, singing and playing his beautiful music!
