Wednesday, August 8, 2018Dear Marian and family, We are deeply shocked and deeply sad as we struggle to accept the idea that our friend Andrew has passed away. It is a lot strange and a lot painful when we loose someone that we love so much. Then, suddenly, we are lost and hollow due to Andrew’s departure. Andrew was a very good friend and ex-colleague from Carbone Savoie where we worked in the Sales Team there. Andrew and his family visited Brazil some time ago in the early 2000’s. Andrew was a very good man, always with a smiling face, so wise and a great professional. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family today and in the future. Please receive our condolences. God peace be upon you. Warm regards from Andrew’s friends from Brazil. We will NEVER forget you, Andrew!

Wednesday, August 8, 2018So sad to hear this. I had the privilege of having some wonderful conversations with Andrew, ironically about life and death. He was very insightful and had a great perspective. We even did a blog together (happy to send if you'd like to see it). Sending you all much love as you grieve Andrew. Take good care of each other! xo

Sunday, August 5, 2018Dear Marian, It’s very sad to receive such a bad news about Andrew’s cancer. We had a very friendly relationship with Andrew, when he used to be in the sales team of Carbone Savoie. It was long ago, around year 2000. We remember when both of you came to France and the good time we had together. He had a great personality, very dedicated, and easygoing. Our heartly thoughts and condolences are with you. Thursday, August 2, 2018Dear Marian and family Words cannot express the shock and deep sense of loss we felt when we learned of Andrew's passing . Andrew was a dear friend , with a zest , enthusiasm and positive attitude towards life that we always admired . I can't help smiling as I recall Andrew's wide big smile , the twinkle in his eyes , his raucous and infectious " Queen's Engineer " sense of humour and the rambunctious and mischievous " Dennis the Menace " dimension of his character that threatened to break out at any time - much to the delight of everyone ! And our course his trademark moustache - unmatched by anyone , including Lanny MacDonald ! Andrew was a wise and very good man who was respected by all . He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him . We will remember Andrew forever with tremendous fondness . Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family today and always. We will see you later today. Warm regards , Richard and Catherine Nixon

Monday, July 30, 2018Our deepest sympathy on the loss of such an amazing, joyful, generous and caring person. It just seems like yesterday that Andrew was at our table for a POWR MAG (Protectors of Wetlands & River Magnetawan), adding his wisdom and work to our group. Andrew would stay for a glass of wine and listen to and share stories. We have so many wonderful memories - Andrew & I flying over the Magnetawan River, our homes and the pit - taking pics; attending Council meetings and OMB hearings; Andrew sharing photos of the beautiful Mag, adding his wisdom, voice and strength and finances, etc., etc, etc. to our small, residential and environmental team. Andrew will be sadly missed by John and me and our entire group. We were truly blessed to have had Andrew with us. We can't even begin to imagine the grief of his beloved wife, Marian, and their children, their children and the grandchildren.

Monday, July 30, 2018Andrew was one of the kindest, most positive people I have ever known. His sense of humour, that made fun of life's absurdities without malice, brought tremendous joy and wisdom into the world. He was a dear friend to me when we were at school together and I thank him for his inspiration – which has lasted me a lifetime and I am sure it will continue through all who knew him. His loss must seem unbearable, but I know he would find a funny and thoughtful way to console everyone, and remind us that he will always be with us. My deepest sympathies and condolences to you all.
