Obituary of Victoria Ramos

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother, Victoria, who entered eternal rest peacefully surrounded by her children and grandaughter on the night of Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Baycrest Hospital after a courageous two-year battle with cancer.

Vicky was the devoted mother of Michael and Sarah, cherished lola to Aria, and beloved tita to many. Daughter of Ernesto and Rosita, she is survived by her brother Danilo (Flor), sister Nora, and predeceased by her brother Antonio (Erlinda). She will be forever loved and missed by her family and friends.

Our family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Toronto General Hospital, Mackenzie Health, and Baycrest Health Sciences, as well as the personal support workers and nurses from Saint Elizabeth for their dedicated care over the past two years.

A commerative gathering will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St, at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 5-8 pm, with a blessing conducted by Father Milton at 6:30 pm. A private internment at Highland Memory Gardens will follow at a later date.

In lieu of flowers and to honour her last wishes, we kindly request that donations in Victoria's memory be made to Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
