Sunday, March 26, 2017Dear Scrafields, We were so sorry to learn of the death of your dear mother, who was always a great friend of the Millers, and in particular a very dear friend of Evelyn's. Francoise was always so kind and had a wonderful sense of humour and worked, as you know, as a devoted volunteer, with Evelyn, for very many years at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and the Toronto Rehabiltation Institute. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. You will be glad to know that Francosie was remembered in the prayers for the deceased at Holy Rosary Church today at the 12:30 p.m. Mass, to which I went because I was unable to attend the 11:00 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help. It was so nice to hear your mother's full name, Marie Francoise, which has such a lovely lyrical ring. Love, Henry for the Millers

Friday, March 17, 2017We are truly sorry to hear of the loss of Francoise, please accept our condolences and know that our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. It was an honor to have known such a great person. We have so many wonderful memories of this very special woman. When we moved into our home on Wenonah Drive, Francoise, our next door neighbour, was the first person to greet us as we climbed out of our car. I have such a vivid memory of that day -she was there greeting us with such warmth and enthusiasm making sure we felt welcome in our new home. Over the years, we were not only neighbours but also developed a friendship. She so enjoyed planting and weeding in her garden, enjoying her wonderful children and grandchildren and of course being the ever devoted wife of our dear Bert. Francoise treasured her family, always had time for others and had such a warm and caring heart. She was a beautiful soul, full of love and faith and we feel so very blessed and grateful to have had her touch our lives!! Mary Ann, Dan, Julia and Brendan O'Mahony
