Obituary of Mark Prestwich
Mark passed away peacefully at Kensington Hospice just one week short of his 57th birthday. He’s gone up to heaven to sit with his dad, John, and watch his beloved Maple Leafs win the Stanley Cup! He’s also joining his Aunts Winifride and Alice where he’ll once again be able to sit and read with them. He leaves behind his dear mother, Hilda, who loved and cared for him his entire life. He is also survived by his loving siblings David (Margie), Ann, Catherine and Elizabeth (Wes) and many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces. Mark was a long-time employee of ARC Industries and an avid bowler with the Woodchippers. The family’s heartfelt thanks go to the wonderful and caring staff at Kensington Hospice. Visitation at R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles) Thursday, March 2 at 10 am followed by the service at 11 am. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Kensington Hospice or Special Olympics would be greatly appreciated.
